Organisational issues
The Congress will take place from 6-8th November 2024 in Krakow, Poland. The Congress will be held in principle in a stationary mode with the possibility of remote participation. It will be possible to change the type of participation until 31th October 2024. The working languages of the Congress will be Polish and English. An introductory methodological workshop is planned for 6th November, while the Congress will officially start with a plenary session on 7th November and an EADI Directors' meeting on 8 November. After the plenary session, the rest of the Congress will be divided into thematic panels. In each panel a discussant will be appointed to introduce the papers and start the discussion.
Participation application
Panel proposals - in Polish or English - can be submitted until 1st March 2024. Information on their acceptance will be announced by 15th March 2024. The list of panels will be published on the website www.ptsm.edu.pl. Papers will be accepted between 15th March and 30th May 2024.
Those interested in participating in the Congress are invited to complete the registration form by 30th May. Paper submission is possible by selecting the appropriate panel from the submitted proposals and independently of the published list of panels (off-panel submission).
Congress fee
On-site participation:
In order to participate in the Congress, the conference fee of PLN 700 (approximately 165 EUR) must be paid by 30th September 2024. Polish International Studies Association members (with paid PISA membership fee for 2025 and no arrears for 2024 and 2023)pay a fee of PLN 500, PhD students - PLN 400 (PhD students who are members of PISA - PLN 350), students - PLN 300 (students who are members of PISA - PLN 250). If the fee is paid by 30th June 2024, the fees are as follows 650 PLN; 450 PLN for PISA members without arrears; 350 PLN for PhD students (300 PLN for PhD students of PISA members); 280 PLN for students (200 PLN for students of PISA members).
Remote participation:
In order to participate in the Congress, the conference fee of PLN 600 must be paid by 30th September 2024. Polish Society for International Studies members with paid PISA membership fee for 2025 and no arrears for 2024 and 2023 pay a fee of PLN 400, PhD students - PLN 300 (PhD students who are PISA members - PLN 250), students - PLN 250 (students who are PISA members - PLN 200).
